The
St. Croix has become a recreational mecca. It stretches
over 150 miles as the boundary between Wisconsin and Minnesota and is the only
river in the world that is protected along its entire length. There is a
uniqueness to the 60 miles that spans the Scenic St. Croix Valley. It runs
between the rugged palisades at Taylors Falls and St. Croix Falls in the north
to the confluence of the Mississippi River at Hastings and Prescott to the
south.
