FUNDRAISING

Thank you to all of those who participated in the
Bright Idea fundraiser by
selling light bulbs and holiday LEDs or making cash donations.
We made over $3,800. Some
of the money was used to purchase a Smart Board for Mrs.
Aschenbrenner’s kindergarten class and the rest will be used to
continue to support Hudson Prairie Elementary.
We sold 1,175 compact
fluorescent light bulbs and 406 LED holiday lights.
These lights will save about $62,460 over the lifetime of the
CFLs and LEDs. What a
great way to earn money for our school and save energy too!
Congratulations to Taylor Girocco, Joe Martin, and Evan Sofie
for selling a minimum of 100 bulbs.
They will each receive a $50 savings bond and will be invited
to attend the Energy Awards Ceremony in Madison.
We have nine boxes of white LEDs still available for
purchase. Contact Deb
Schwab at 386-1777 if you are interested in buying any or all of
these boxes.
