Essential Agreements – Susie Prather
Agreement drafted for members of Parent Group when attending
meetings.

Principals Report – Susie Prather & Peg Shoemaker
Susie:  Yearbook theme contest winter Erik Ostien “Making better
tomorrows”.  Leveled Libraries
Peg:
SMART Goal – explained in handout. Currently 76% of
Students are at or above grade level. By June 2009 want
81% at or above grade level.

Bookfair – Nancy Tersteeg
Will have results at December Meeting.

Teacher Buffet – Pam Ploeger
Teachers say a big thanks!!
Still need Chairperson for Teacher Buffet in February.
Responsibilities include: calling parent volunteers to bring
food for buffet, set-up and take-down of buffet in teacher
lounge. Call Pam Ploeger at # 386-9636 if interested. If
we do not get a Chairperson, teacher buffet will be
discontinued.

Fundraiser: Light bulbs – Deb Schwab
406 LEDs sold and 1173 CFLs sold
Three students will be receiving a $50 savings bond for selling 100
or more bulbs.
Results: $3553 raised and $335 cash donated
Asking teachers who want a smart board to do a “proposal” and the
Principal and HPPG Board will vote on a winner.

Spirit Wear – Pam Ploeger
Vendor working on printing samples. Will offer: SS tees and
hoodies ( kids & adult sizes), bag, beanie hat, and water bottle.

Trailblazers Snacks – Susie Prather
Trailblazers is an after school reading program, and they would like
$300 from the Parent Group to cover the cost of snacks for the
Students.

Box Tops – Jennifer Bates
$904.20 raised so far this year.
Offering a popcorn party to top class in each grade
$133 Milk Moola
$277 Kemps
Campbells – earn points. We have a lot of points banked, and
Susie Prather will take a look at www.labelsforeducation.com to
select some needed items.

Directory – will talk about this at December meeting.

Next HPPG Meeting Tuesday December 16th from 6:30pm – 7:30pm.
Remember that we offer FREE childcare during the meeting.
